This project invites participants to explore the intersections of fashion, identity, and desire through an innovative and interactive cutting and crafting experience. By enabling individuals to create their own true-to-scale male models from Pinokio Models agency from Poland, we challenge conventional notions of beauty and desirability in the commercial fashion industry. Through this hands-on engagement, participants are not only artists and stylists, but also critical thinkers, as they confront and reflect upon their own preferences and societal standards regarding sex, sexuality, and gender.

As participants cut, assemble, and display their models, they engage in a dialogue about the representation of masculinity and the often contradictory values presented in fashion and social media. The project encourages a playful yet critical examination of what is considered desirable, inviting questions about authenticity, commodification, and the narratives we construct around identity.

Ultimately, this project serves not merely as a creative outlet, but also as a catalyst for self-expression and introspection. By placing the power of creation in the hands of the individual, we promote a deeper understanding of fashion as not just a reflection of societal norms, but as a personal and evolving canvas for the exploration of one’s desires and identities. Join us in crafting not only models, but also a more nuanced awareness of the dynamics at play in the worlds of fashion, art, and personal expression.
